How Marketing Worldwide Ltd handles personal data — written in plain language, answered as questions, and current as of 6 August 2026.
Marketing Worldwide Ltd, a neuro-marketing agency with its office at Room 2103, Future Plaza, 111 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. In this notice we call ourselves “we” or “us”.
For work we carry out on behalf of a client — a campaign, a survey, a support line — that client decides how the data is used and we act on their instructions. In those cases they are the data user and we simply process it for them.
Only what a piece of work actually needs. In practice that is:
Usually straight from you — a form, an email, a call, a message to a social account we manage, or an answer you give in a survey. Some technical data is collected automatically by this website.
Where we run a campaign or a call center line for a client, the contact data comes from that client, remains theirs, and we use it only as they instruct.
To reply to inquiries and prepare proposals; to plan, run, measure and improve the campaigns and call center work we have been engaged to do; to keep this website secure and working; and to meet obligations the law places on us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not build profiles of individuals for our own commercial gain.
This is the part that matters most if you have simply seen one of our campaigns rather than contacted us.
When we run paid search, social, display or affiliate campaigns for a client, we use the tools those platforms provide — conversion tags, tracking pixels, click identifiers and audience lists. They tell us that an advertisement was seen, clicked or acted on, and they let a client measure whether the spend worked.
Three things are worth being clear about:
Where a client asks us to load their own customer list into a platform, that list is theirs, they decide it may be used that way, and we act on their instructions.
Part of what we do is call center marketing, and that includes generating and qualifying leads, following up on campaigns, and collecting customer surveys and feedback on a client’s behalf.
If we contact you that way:
In Hong Kong we handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and its six Data Protection Principles — covering how data is collected, how accurate and current it is kept, how long it is retained, how it is used, how it is secured, and your right to see and correct it.
Where a client or a customer we contact is covered by other laws — for example the EU or UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act — we rely on your consent, on performing a contract with you, on our legitimate interest in running the agency, or on a legal obligation, as the situation requires.
Yes, in three kinds:
Your browser can block or delete any of them at any time, and most browsers offer a “do not track” setting. If you refuse the necessary ones, parts of the site may behave differently.
A short list, and only where necessary:
Nobody else. We do not trade, rent or sell personal data.
It can. We work with clients and suppliers in other markets, so data may be processed outside Hong Kong. When that happens we take steps to see that it stays protected to the standard described here, whatever the destination.
For as long as the purpose lasts, and no longer. Inquiries that go nowhere are cleared out; project records are kept for the life of the engagement and a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting reasons; call recordings are kept only as long as the quality or training purpose lasts; survey answers are aggregated once a survey closes. Data held for a client follows that client’s retention instructions.
Access is limited to the people who need it, systems are kept current, and confidentiality is written into how we work with staff and suppliers. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we treat a breach as a serious matter and will act, and notify, as the law requires.
You can ask us to:
Write to Inquiries@marketingworldwideltd.com and we will respond within the period the law allows. If your data was collected for one of our clients, we will pass the request to them and help them answer it. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong, or to the regulator where you live.
Only to people who have agreed to hear from us, and only about our own services. Every message carries a way out, and you can also just email us and ask to be removed — we will act on it and keep no marketing record of you afterwards. Withdrawing from marketing does not affect messages about work already under way.
Our work is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not target advertising at them. If you believe a child’s data has reached us, tell us and we will remove it.
Occasionally — when our practices, our tools, or the law move on. The date at the top always shows the current version, and anything significant will be flagged rather than slipped in quietly.
